Such a good trip! Thanks Thomas and driver! It’s a short and sweet trip, it’s a bit cold even in summer, need to prepare a coat for any weather unknown.

The tour company, Concord, should have handled things better. Our guide, Thomas is neither proactive nor reactive.
1. Masks should be required inside the bus, or at least ask those who were coughing to wear masks. Tour guide, Thomas coughs a lot. So do some tourists. They should've been stricter given covid. We had to wear a mask as those coughing did not.
2. We did not appreciate that commentaries were trilingual (English, French, Chinese) when we signed up for English only. We have to wait for the tour guide to switch to English everytime Thomas wants to describe something.
3. Allotted time for meals /buying food was rushed. How can you enjoy a meal if you are given an hour to eat lunch AND buy food for the next 2 meals within an hour (since we were told to buy our next dinner and breakfast too, as our 1st night hotel would not be near any open restaurants), when the stores are blocks away from each other? Tour wasnt prepared for Canada Day closures (or they used Canada Day as an excuse for their inefficiency). We were told to buy takeout from fast food places for our lunch, dinner AND breakfast (McDonald's, Subway, Tim Hortons, etc) with the promise that the second hotel, on the next evening, will be better than the first one. Thomas emphasized on the wide menu of this hotels restaurant .... But when we arrived at the second hotel, the restaurant did not offer anything except for spaghetti w meat sauce, spaghetti w red sauce, and chefs salad. THAT'S IT. Thomas was helpless. Bus driver refused to at least drive us to a place to buy food as UberEATS doesn't serve the area. The only available option to order pizza via delivery which is again technically bread to add to the only bread selection of the past 4 meals. It's a huge international group and I'm sure some are non-beef eaters like us. Ordering online would take time and will cut down rest time for us so most just skipped dinner entirely.
4. Complimentary ride to our rental was awkward . The coordination between our tour guide and the van driver didn't go well either. Grumpy driver.
We liked Philip , the driver who fetched us from the rental better.
All the sites we visited were really nice. Just expect bus rides to be long and how they handles food wasnt good.
